Two festivals, three weekends, one April
Coachella runs over two weekends in April at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, with the same lineup each weekend. Stagecoach, the country festival, follows on the weekend after at the same grounds.
Dates for the next edition are announced on coachella.com and stagecoachfestival.com. We do not publish them here, because a date copied from a third party and left to go stale is worse than no date at all — check the official site before booking around one.
What does not change is the demand. Those three weekends are the busiest of the year in the valley, and vehicles for them go long before the lineup is announced.

Drop-off rules
Where a hired vehicle is actually allowed to stop
This is the part that catches groups out, and it is worth reading before booking anything.
The festivals operate a dedicated Black Car / Limo drop-off area, Lot 1A, and it requires a pass. The official wording is unambiguous: "No commercial vehicles will be given access to the Black Car/Limo Pass 1A Drop Off area without a valid pass." That covers limousines, party buses, SUVs and any vehicle making repeat trips.
Without that pass, the rule is equally clear: "Any vehicles without this pass must use the public pick up/drop off area at the corner of Madison St. & Ave. 52." Rideshare has its own separate location, at Ave. 49 and Monroe St.
So a party bus without a pass drops at the public corner like everyone else. That is not a problem as long as the group expects it — it is a problem when they were told otherwise.

What festival transportation costs
Festival work is hourly, not point to point. The vehicle is held for the evening rather than making a single journey, so it is quoted per hour with a 4-hour minimum.
For a group that means one vehicle, one driver and one price for the night, rather than four rideshare surges at 1am when everyone leaves at once.

Planning
Getting the night right
The grounds are in Indio, at the eastern end of the valley. A group staying in Palm Springs is a real drive away at the western end; a group in La Quinta or Indio is close.
Leaving is the pinch point rather than arriving. Everyone leaves within the same half hour, and the official guidance notes the longest rideshare waits fall between midnight and 2:30am. A held vehicle is waiting where you agreed rather than joining that queue.
Agree the pickup point with your driver before you go in. Phone signal on the grounds is unreliable when a festival crowd is all trying to use it at once.

Booking
What we need
The dates, the number of people, where you are staying and roughly what time you want to leave each night. Tell us if you are hoping to use the Lot 1A drop-off, because that depends on a festival pass rather than on us.
Cancelling is free up to 24 hours before the pickup. Tips are not included and are at your discretion.
