The drive

Todos Santos is 70.3 miles from SJD, about 1 hr 40 without traffic. The route runs west along MEX 1 and the 1D toll road toward Cabo San Lucas, then turns north up the Pacific coast on MEX 19.
It is a different landscape from the Corridor. Once MEX 19 leaves the cape behind, the road runs between desert and open ocean, with the surf beaches below and very little in between.

The town
Todos Santos and the Pacific side
Todos Santos is an old mission town with a designation as one of Mexico's Pueblos Mágicos, known for its galleries, its historic center and the surf beaches along the coast nearby. It is quiet by the standards of the cape, and that is the point of it.
Most visitors stay either in the historic center or on the beach properties along the coast just outside it. The surf breaks near El Pescadero, a little to the south, draw their own crowd and are on the same road.
Give the property name and whether it is in town or on the coast. Several of the beach properties are down dirt roads off MEX 19 that are easy to miss in the dark.

This is a long return with a deadline at the end of it. Work backwards from the airline's check-in cut-off, allow the full driving time, then the time the airline asks for an international departure.

Plenty of people staying on the cape visit Todos Santos for a day rather than staying there — for the galleries, the historic center and lunch, with a stop at the surf beaches on the way back.
That trip is better booked by the hour than as two transfers. The drive is long enough that the day is really one vehicle held for most of it, and hourly booking with a four-hour minimum means the car waits while you walk the town rather than leaving and coming back.
