The Tourist Corridor is the eighteen or so miles of MEX 1 between San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, and almost every large resort on the cape sits along it. Measured to Chileno Bay, roughly its midpoint, the transfer is 17.6 miles and about 30 min without traffic.
Because it is a stretch rather than a point, where you are staying along it decides the length of the trip. A resort near Palmilla, at the San José end, is a shorter run than one near Cabo del Sol at the San Lucas end, and the quote follows the actual address.

Private roads and gatehouses
Most Corridor resorts do not sit on MEX 1 itself. They sit at the end of a private road off it, behind a gatehouse, sometimes a mile or more down toward the water.
That changes what the driver needs. A kilometer marker on MEX 1 gets the car to the turn; the resort's name is what gets it through the gate. A booking with only a street address or a municipality is a booking that ends at a barrier.
It is also why a Corridor transfer can take longer than the highway distance suggests: the last mile is slow, and some developments hold several resorts behind one gate.

Villas
Private villas and residences
Not everyone on the Corridor is in a hotel. A large share of the stays along it are in private villas and residence developments, often inside the same gated communities as the resorts and often without a front desk to call.
That makes the arrival details matter more. A villa booking needs the development name, the villa or residence number, and whoever holds the gate list, because the gatehouse will not let a vehicle through for a name it does not have.
Send those when you book rather than on landing. It is the single most common reason a Corridor arrival stalls at a barrier with a car full of tired passengers.
