In Florida we carry groups, not single travelers: teams, cruise parties, wedding guests, conference delegations and families traveling together. The vehicles are Sprinters for a dozen or so and coaches for forty and more, and the work runs between two airports, a cruise port and the long road south to Key West.
Miami is where most of it starts. Two airports serve the area — Miami International and Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International, about twenty miles apart — and either works as the pickup point for a group.

Florida group travel does not stay inside one metro area. Our completed bookings include a group of twenty-five in a mini-coach from Fort Lauderdale's airport across the state to Sarasota, and back again a week later.

The airport-to-ship day
A cruise group has a fixed deadline at the far end: the ship's boarding window. That makes the transfer from the airport to PortMiami the part of the trip most worth planning — one vehicle for the whole party, with the luggage, timed back from the check-in time on the cruise documents.
PortMiami publishes which cruise lines use which of its terminals, and the Miami cruise page carries that table, dated, alongside the distances from both airports.
When
The season, and the storms
South Florida's busy months are the winter ones, when the cruise schedule, the events calendar and the visitors all peak together; group vehicles for those weeks are worth booking early.
The other calendar to know is the weather's. The National Hurricane Center sets the Atlantic hurricane season at June 1 to November 30. A storm can close roads, the Keys highway included, so a group trip in those months needs a plan for the day it cannot run.
