Amarillo is the Panhandle, where the airport's limited schedule makes the long drives to DFW, Lubbock and Oklahoma City the core of the business.

Laredo is the busiest inland port on the US–Mexico border, and that shapes the travel around it. A lot of the corporate work in the city is people visiting plants and distribution operations on one side or the other.
